What a Chapter President Does
Recruit and Vet Members
Identify, approach, and approve the right entrepreneurs for your chapter. You control the quality of the room.
Run the Monthly Meeting
Host and facilitate the structured monthly meeting using the GMx format. Ensure every session runs on time and on standard.
Manage the Chapter P&L
Oversee membership fees, chapter expenses, and any local revenue streams. You operate the chapter as a business.
Represent GMx in Your City
Be the face of GMx locally — at events, in conversations, and in your network. You are the brand in your market.
Maintain Chapter Standards
Uphold the GMx meeting format, membership criteria, and programme quality as defined in the GMx Chapter playbook.

How to Become President
Two Pathways to the Role
Pathway A
Founder President
You recruit a minimum of 20 founding members and launch the chapter yourself. You build the room from scratch — and you lead it from day one.
Requirement: Recruit 20 members before launch
Pathway B
Elected President
An existing GMx Chapter member who is voted in by the chapter membership to lead for a presidential term.
Requirement: Must be a current chapter member
Certification Process
3 Steps to Launch
All Chapter Presidents — Founder or Elected — complete a 3-step certification before taking the role. A certification fee applies.
Briefing
An in-depth briefing session with the GMx team. Covers the chapter model, standards, responsibilities, and economics.
Shadow a Meeting
Attend a live GMx Chapter meeting as an observer. Experience the format firsthand before leading one yourself.
Submit Launch Plan
Submit your chapter launch plan — founding member pipeline, target city, language track, and meeting venue proposal.
